I met Kim and Matt at Meridian Hill Park, where we blamed the government and its budget cuts for not having the water running in the totally awesome fountains there. That issue aside, we found some great spots around the park. The sun and the plants/flowers/trees blooming everywhere made it feel like spring, despite the less-than-60-degree day. We then headed down U Street to Matt’s neck of the woods, bonding over a mutual love of cheap tacos along the way. Kim and Matt like to laugh, and I can’t wait to laugh in happiness with them at their wedding!
