This was so much fun! At our first meeting, I learned that Joyce and Ryan live only a few streets away from me, so we talked about taking advantage of that and doing a shoot at their house on the next snow day. Well, when the big storm came on Saturday, it was the perfect time to pop over and play in the snow! I’ve been wanting to do a shoot like this for awhile, so I was super excited. As it turned out, we never saw the soft, gentle snowfall we had imagined… the wind was crazy and ice was coming at us from all sides, but we made it work. I loved getting to meet and include Ryan’s daughter in the shoot as well – she had the best smile-on-command I’ve seen from a six year old! We all looked like frozen eskimos by the end of the shoot, but it was totally worth it!
