Kelly & Mike – Patapsco State Park Maryland Engagement Photography

It was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon at Patapsco, and Kelly and Mike were serious model material with their expert cuddles and great chemistry. I had so much fun chatting about Greece and practicing the two Greek words I could remember from my trip there a couple of years ago. Haha. ευχαριστώ, guys!

Dawn & Ben – Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Maryland Wedding Photography

Dawn and Ben’s wedding day was full of smiles and happiness and, well, quite a bit of rain. It didn’t really stop all day, but we got out there and made the most of it, and lucked out with a totally awesome sunset!

Ashley & Mark – Piney Branch Golf Club Maryland Wedding Photography

Ashley & Mark had the absolute best attitudes about their rainy day wedding. I loved that they were down for all my ideas, including walking across the very wet grass to this awesome grove of trees. It was a lovely day, and the many tears and happiness made it even more beautiful. And talk about an epic dance party!

Ashleigh & Brian – Potomac River Engagement Shoot

Brian warned me to wear sturdy shoes because there was a “little bit of hiking” involved… ha! More like rock climbing. Okay, I’m kind of exaggerating here, but you try crossing streams and rock scrambling with all your camera gear… I was sore the next day! But seriously, one of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to see everyone’s hidden gems around the area. I would have never known about this place without Brian taking us there but it was stunningly beautiful. This was such a fun way to spend a gorgeous morning, and Ashleigh and Brian were so easy to talk to, even as I was still waking up. :) Ashleigh is super talented and owns a custom invitation and stationery business, so make sure to check it out. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with for her epic New Year’s Eve wedding. (But no pressure! Haha.)

Becky & Eric – Silver Swan Wedding Photography

Becky and Eric had a super sweet wedding at the beautiful Silver Swan Bayside. It was never quite sunny, but it never rained either! And then right at sunset the sky got crazy cool and even though I had plenty of pictures, I made Becky and Eric come out for one last time and was so glad that I did. :)

Lauren & Chad – Belmont Manor Maryland Wedding Photography

Lauren and Chad are both travel nurses, which is how they met. They’ve been some fabulous places together (as evidenced by the travel-themed reception tables and wedding details) and I know they are looking forward to visiting plenty of future destinations as husband and wife! Chad is from Texas and it was a highlight for me to hear the awesome Bachelor Boys Band play some Alan Jackson!

Lindsey & Doug – 1840s Ballroom Baltimore Wedding Photography

Lindsey and Doug have a really fun “how we met” story – their moms set them up and it actually worked out! Best friends from freshman year at college, Lindsey and Doug’s mothers kept in touch over the years and when Lindsey happened to move to PA for a new job, Doug’s mom was quick to invite her over for a family dinner. Doug was duly impressed, and a few days later Lindsey and Doug were attending a New Year’s Eve party together. And the rest, as they say, is history! (This is the abbreviated version, but I really enjoyed hearing the whole thing!)

Katie & Eric – Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore Wedding Photography

Katie and Eric’s Baltimore Pier 5 wedding could not have been more picture-perfect. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their first look was probably one of my favorites all year! I had so much fun walking around on the water with these two and their bridal party.
